Bancolombia said it intends to issue new notes to fund the proposed buyback of all its 5.95% notes that come due in 2021.
The Colombian lender has engaged Citi and JPMorgan to lead the bond sale "on terms satisfactory to the issuer," Bancolombia said in a statement. It also said that it has hired Citi to arrange the buyback.
