Spain's Powertis said it has signed loan agreements for BRL2.5bn ($610m) with the development banks BNDES and Banco do Nordeste (BNB) to fund four solar power projects in Brazil.
The loans are expected to close in the fourth quarter this year and the first quarter next year, the renewable energy company said in a press release. BTG Pactual is Powertis' financial advisor on the deal, it added.
The projects include a 495 MW solar farm and three 90 MW plants in the states of Minas Gerais and São Pa
