Brazil's Taesa said it wants to buy four more transmission lines and increase its portfolio to a total of 40 concessions.
"When we talk about M&A, Taesa is always ready, always on the lookout," CEO Raul Lycurgo said during a conference call to discuss the firm's latest financial results.
Taesa has identified 82 companies with BRL5.55bn ($1.4bn) in combined annual revenues, or around BRL68m each, that could make good acquisitions targets, Lycurgo said.
