Colegios Peruanos, an education company owned by Intercorp, plans to sell PEN230m ($68.1m) in local notes in the coming weeks, LatinFinance has heard.
The issue will be the first debt sale in Colegios Peruanos' plans to raise PEN1bn in the local bond market by the end of the year, said a banker involved in the transaction.
The bookrunner Inteligo, another Intercorp holding, has held meetings this month with local investors to pitch the new notes, the source said.
