Brazil's Gás Natural Açu has drawn down on $750m in project financing to build a 1.34 GW power project, said EIG Global Energy Partners, the controlling shareholder in Prumo Logística, one of the joint venture's partners.
Gás Natural Açu, a joint venture with Prumo, BP and Siemens, secured a BRL1.76bn ($433m) loan from the national development bank BNDES in January with backing from German development and export finance bank KfW IPEX-Bank and insurance provider Euler Hemer Aktiengesellschaft. I
