The São Paulo city government said it did not receive any bids to buy the Anhembi complex in the northern part of the city.
The city announced the auction in July and opened the bidding to local and foreign firms as well as financial institutions and investment funds. The municipal audit court, or TCM, had put the minimum bid at BRL1.45bn ($363m) in June.
