Brazil's Kroton could make more acquisitions in the basic education sector by the middle of next year, CEO Rodrigo Galindo said during a conference call.
"By the midpoint of 2020, we may resume the process of K-12 school consolidation because it adds value [and] it has an adequate ROI [return on investment]," Galindo said.
Kroton formed Saber as a holding company for its basic education assets after it acquired 73% of Somos Educação from Tarpon Investimentos for BRL4.6bn ($1.18bn) in April 2018.
