The Brazilian government has auctioned three 25-year port terminal concessions with BRL420m ($104m) in estimated investments, the infrastructure ministry said in a statement.
The logistics firm Hidrovias do Brasil took the STS 20 lot at the Port of Santos with a winning bid of BRL113m and agreed to invest BRL219m over the course of the concession. Pátria Investimentos owns 55.8% of Hidrovias do Brasil, while the other shareholders are Temasek with 18.2%, AIMCo with 10.1%, Blackstone with 9.3%,
