GEB buys ElectroDunas in Peru

Grupo Energía Bogotá (GEB) said it has acquired the Peruvian electricity company ElectroDunas from the private equity firm Blue Water through a takeover bid on the Lima stock exchange. GEB paid $210m for ElectroDunas, or $3.12 per share for 67.5m shares, according to a securities filing. Credicorp Capital was GEB's financial advisor on the transaction, while PPU Legal and Rubio Leguía were the legal advisors. Blue Water got financial advice from Credit Suisse and legal counsel from Simpson Thach
