Ergon Perú has concluded a $222m green bond deal through a private placement with nine investors from home and abroad, according to the law firm Garrigues.
Ergon, a division of the Italian renewable energy company Tozzi Green, sold the 15-year notes at a fixed rate of 4.87% and set aside the money to pay off a loan from SMBC and the national development bank Cofide. SMBC arranged the private placement and provided a letter of credit as part of the transaction, Garrigues said.
