South American development bank CAF has issued a $400m loan to help Argentina fund infrastructure and education programs, the Finance Ministry said in a statement.
The country’s Federal Program of Regional Infrastructure will receive $300m, while another $100m will go Jujuy province, it added.
The FPRI will use the funds to improve public transport, expand power generation and transmission capacity, improve water management and promote tourism.
