Market volatility spurred by contentious US trade policies is keeping Latin American issuers away from the bond market and likely causing delays for roadshows planned later this month, LatinFinance has heard.
"It's probably very hard for any issuer to come to market right now," said a bonds banker in New York. "Latin American issuers are being very cautious as are US high-yield issuers because of the trade war."
