Brazil's AES Tietê said it will reevaluate its offer to invest in the second phase of the Alto Sertão III wind power project after the power sector regulator Aneel blocked part of a BRL1.5bn ($388m) deal with Renova Energia. AES Tietê, a subsidiary of the US energy company AES Corp, said in April that it had agreed to spend BRL516m and assume BRL988m in debt to take control of Alto Sertão III from Renova.
