CPFL Energia unit raises reais

CPFL Energia Renováveis, the renewable energy division of Brazil's CPFL Energia, has earned BRL838m ($217m) from the sale of debentures in the local market, according to the capital markets association Anbima. CPFL Renováveis split the deal in two with BRL538m in four-year notes and BRL300m in three-year notes.
