Grupo Energía de Bogotá (GEB) is looking for partners to join in potential bids for Sempra Energy's business in Chile and Peru, a company executive told LatinFinance.
"We are still assessing it, but these are big transactions and we don't have enough cash. In both cases, we would need a partner," the executive said.
San Diego-based Sempra wants to sell Chilquinta in Chile and Luz del Sur in Peru by the end of the year as it focuses on its business in Mexico and the United States.
