A disagreement between Grupo Energía Bogotá (GEB) and Enel over the jointly owned utility company Codensa may have delayed the sale of the state-owned power company Electricaribe by up to four months, LatinFinance has heard.
"Codensa was initially interested, but GEB and Enel have differences, so now it seems like they won't participate," said the head of research at a local brokerage firm.
The government took over Electricaribe from Spain's Naturgy in 2016 and planned to sell the Barranquilla
