Bain Capital stands to earn up to BRL2.82bn ($725m) from the sale of shares in the Brazilian healthcare provider NotreDame Intermédica.
The São Paulo-based company said Alkes II, an investment fund from the US private equity firm, will sell at least 50m shares in Intermédica, but it could increase the offer by as much as 35% to meet demand.
Shares in Intermédica rose 2.1% after the announcement to close at BRL41.76 on Monday.
