A new M&A law in Peru could affect Enel's efforts to buy the local power company Luz del Sur from the US firm Sempra Energy, LatinFinance has heard. "It's going to be much harder for [Enel] to buy Sempra's assets now," said Eduardo Peláez from the local advisory firm UNE Asesores.
