Chile's SQM has sold $450m in 10-year bonds, pricing the new notes at 30bp under guidance on strong investor demand, LatinFinance has heard.
The bookrunners Bank of America, JPMorgan and Santander had set the initial price talk at 200bp over US Treasury notes, but it priced the notes at 4.25%, or 170bp over Treasuries, said a debt capital markets banker.
"The deal did very well and the notes are trading strongly in the secondary markets," the banker said.
