Brazil's Suzano said it has raised $1.25bn in fresh debt by selling $1bn in new 10-year notes and adding $250m to its 2047 bonds.
The São Paulo-based paper and pulp company priced the new 5% 2030s to yield 5.18% and it reopened the 7% 2047s at 6.245%, it said in a press release.
The company also said it will use the money to pay off debt and raise cash for interest payments this year. "As a result, Suzano expects to improve even more its debt profile," it said.
