Brazil's Neoenergia has named BB Investimentos, the investment banking division of the state-owned lender Banco do Brasil, as the lead coordinator of a BRL1.25bn ($310m) debenture sale in the local market.
Citi, Itaú BBA, Santander and XP Investimentos will also work on the deal for the Rio de Janeiro-based energy company, a subsidiary of Spain's Iberdrola, according to the prospectus.
