Brazil's Eletrobras has earned BRL5bn ($1.22bn) from a four-part debenture deal in the local market, issuing notes with maturities from three to 10 years, according to the capital markets association Anbima.
The state-owned power company sold BRL1.1bn in three-year notes, along with BRL2.2bn in five-year notes, BRL1bn in seven-year notes and BRL700m in 10-year notes.
