IDB Invest said it has approved a $500m financing package for the Ferrocarril Central railroad public-private partnership in Uruguay.
The multilateral agency has agreed to arrange a 17-year, $440m senior loan and a subordinated loan for up to $60m with commercial banks and international lenders, IDB Invest said in a press release.
