France's Vinci is looking to refinance approximately PEN4.9bn ($1.48bn) in debt from Lamsac, the Línea Amarilla toll road concession in Lima, LatinFinance has heard.
The construction company could issue Euroclearable bonds for international buyers, but it wants to raise debt in local currency to match the toll revenues and government payments, said a source close to the deal.
Vinci could also get a new loan to pay off part of the debt, the source said.
