BBVA Continental in Peru has closed a three-year, $100m syndicated loan led by Wells Fargo, the lender's legal advisor, Holland & Knight, said in a press release.

The loan involved 16 banks from China, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan and the United States, including first-time lenders to BBVA Continental, Holland & Knight said. 

Wells Fargo was the sole lead arranger, bookrunner and administrative agent, the law firm added. 

BBVA Continental will apply the money to working capital purposes. Estudio Muñiz was Wells Fargo's legal representative in Peru.
