Brazil's Hapvida is preparing to issue BRL2bn ($508m) in debentures in the local market to help finance the acquisition of the rival healthcare provider Grupo São Francisco, LatinFinance has confirmed.
The Fortaleza-based healthcare company is looking to make more acquisitions, but it will evaluate the best financing options at that time, said a spokesperson for the company.
