The province of Santa Fe in Argentina has received AED294m ($80m) from the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) to fund a water supply project.
The 15-year loan comes with a three-year grace period and carries a rate of 5% per year, Gonzalo Saglione, the economy minister for the province, said in a tweet.
The project involves building reservoirs and pumping stations to treat water from the Coronda River and supply it to 125,000 people in eight towns in the central part of the province.
