The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) said it has provided a 19-year, $600m loan for Colombia's finance ministry to fund energy projects.
The loan comes with a 5.5-year grace period and an interest rate tied to Libor, the IDB said in a press release.
The Colombian government will use the money to increase the electrical grid capacity and expand access for both renewable energy and natural gas projects.
