Argentina's Pan American Energy (PAE) has requested up to $400m in financing through IFC, according to documents on the multilateral agency's website.
IFC could provide an A loan for $100m and also arrange a $300m B loan to finish the expansion of the Campana refinery in the province of Buenos Aires.
IFC previously arranged a $378m A/B loan for the refinery in May 2016, when it was still owned by Axion Energy. British oil company BP and Argentina's Bridas agreed to merge PAE and Axion in 2017. C
