Goldman Sachs' plans to open a stock-trading brokerage business in Mexico could be a promising bet in the long run, LatinFinance has heard.
"It's a good moment to do this," said Christian Papayanopulos, a partner at the Mexican buyout fund Ventura Capital. "A lot of Mexican capital is leaving and Goldman has a good network of institutional investors who could invest in publicly traded companies."
