Engie Energia Brasil, a division of the French energy company Engie, said it plans to sell BRL2.5bn ($636m) in debentures in the Brazilian market.
The 18-month notes will likely price at 102.5% of the DI interbank lending rate and the proceeds will go to working capital, Engie said in a statement.
Engie did not say which bank it has hired to lead the debt sale. The company worked with Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Itaú and Banco Safra in July last year, when it sold BRL747m in debentures for wind
