Brazilian agribusinesses raise local debt

Three agribusinesses in Brazil — Zilor, IBI Brasil and Sipcam Nichino — have raised a total of BRL883m ($228m) from the sale of debentures in the local market, according to the capital markets association Anbima. Zilor, a sugarcane company from Lençóis Paulista in the state of São Paulo, issued BRL560m in six-year notes through its subsidiary Açucareira Quatá.
