IEnova, the Mexican subsidiary of the US energy infrastructure company Sempra Energy, has requested up to $395m in financing through IFC, according to documents on the multilateral lender's website.
IFC could provide an A loan for up to $100m and arrange another $295m in financing from development banks and commercial lenders. IFC's board is scheduled to review the request on May 17.
