Mexico's Cemex said it has agreed to sell its white cement business in Europe to Çimsa Çimento from Turkey for roughly $180m.
Cemex added that it expects to sign the final agreement next month and close the sale in the second half of the year. The transaction includes the Buñol plant in Spain, but it does not involve Cemex's white cement business in Mexico or Lehigh Cement in the United States.
