Embraer CEO steps down after Boeing deal

Brazil's Embraer said its CEO, Paulo Souza e Silva, will leave his post on April 22, now that shareholders have approved a $4.2bn tie-up with the US aircraft manufacturer Boeing. Embraer said it will name a new CEO before Souza e Silva leaves the company. Souza e Silva will stay on as an advisor to the board of directors until the Brazilian company closes the deal with Boeing, Embraer said in a securities filing.  Embraer's shareholders approved in February the sale of its commercial jet divis
