Chile's AES Gener said it will sell bonds to fund the buyback of its 8.375% 2073 notes.
The power company has offered to pay bondholders $1,012 for every $1,000 in bonds tendered by the early deadline on March 22. After that, it has offered to pay $982 for every $1,000 in notes tendered by the final deadline on April 5.
AES Gener sold $50m in 2073s in December 2013, led by Citi and Goldman Sachs.
Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Bank of America are now the dealer managers on the buyback.
