InterEnergy buys solar plants in Chile

M&A Energy Renewable Solar Chile

InterEnergy Holding has acquired 11 solar plants with 51 MWp in capacity from Spain's Grenergy Renovables for $66.5m, the seller said in a statement. The plants were the first projects that Grenergy developed under Chile's Pequeños Medios de Generación Distribuidos (PMGD) program, which involves projects up to 9 MW. The plants stretch from the Coquimbo Region in the Norte Chico to the O'Higgins Region in central Chile. Grenergy has partnered with the JPMorgan-owned solar power producer Sonnedix
