Brazil's BRF said it has named Ivan Monteiro as its new CFO, pending approval from the federal government.
Monteiro will replace Elcio Ito, who leaves the meatpacking company after more than eight years, including two years as CFO, to work on projects of "personal interest," BRF said in a statement.
Monteiro served as CEO of Petrobras from June to December last year. He was previously the CFO of the state-owned energy company from 2015. Before that, he was CFO of the state-owned lender Banco do
