Argentina accepts more CAF financing

Argentina has accepted a loan for up to $100 million loan from the South American development bank CAF to fund infrastructure and housing works in three shantytowns in Buenos Aires. In a decree, the federal government said the funds will be used to build housing and public spaces as well as to improve basic infrastructure in the Villa 20, Villa Rodrigo Bueno and Villa Fraga settlements in the capital city.The projects are part of a push by the city and federal governments to urbanize shantytowns
