CIFI issues green bonds in El Salvador

The Corporación Interamericana para el Financiamiento de Infraestructura (CIFI), a regional infrastructure lender based in Panama, said it sold $14 million in green bonds in El Salvador.  MMG Bank arranged the sale, pricing the five-year notes at a fixed rate of 5.15% per year, CIFI said in a press release.  AFP Crecer and AFP Confía, two of El Salvador's largest private pension fund managers, acquired the bonds, according to CIFI.
