Chile aims to issue up to $8.7 billion in bonds in 2020, split between $5.4 billion in local Treasury notes and $3.3 billion in foreign currencies, the Finance Ministry said on Friday.
The ministry plans to sell up to $2 billion in new 2025 notes with $1.5 billion in Chilean pesos and $500 million in inflation-linked Unidades de Fomento (UF), along with $1.5 billion in new 2039 notes with $1 billion in pesos and $500 million in UFs, it said in a statement.
