Engie, CDPQ announce interest in TAG stake

French energy company Engie and Canadian pension plan Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) are interested in buying the remaining 10% stake in Transportadora Associada de Gás (TAG) from Brazil's state-owned oil company Petrobras and taking full control of the natural gas pipeline company. Petrobras announced last week that it plans to sell the last 10% of TAG as part of an ongoing asset sales program. The company agreed to sell 90% of TAG to Engie and CDPQ for $8.6 billion in April this
