Mexico's Grupo Lala said Friday that CEO Mauricio Leyva has agreed to step down on December 31 after this year's financial results "have fallen short of stated goals and objectives aligned with strengthening the company's profitability." The dairy company has appointed former CEO and current board member Arquímedes Celis to step in for Leyva as it searches for a permanent replacement, according to a securities filing.
