Brazil's Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes said that Delta Air Lines has sold all its preferred shares in the airline just over two months after the US carrier agreed to buy a stake in Chile's LATAM Airlines.
Delta offloaded 32.9 million preferred shares in Gol, or 5% of all preferred shares in the company, over the past few days, the Brazilian airline said in a statement.
Shares in Gol rose 1.63% to close at BRL35.55 ($8.63) on Wednesday, making Delta's former stake worth BRL1.17 billion.
