BNDES grants loans for grain storage, ethanol production

Brazil's national development bank BNDES has approved BRL290 million ($72.3 million) in financing for grain storage at the Port of Paranaguá and for sugar and ethanol production in Minas Gerais.The state-run lender provided BRL191 million for Coamo Agroindustrial Cooperativa to build a new storage facility though an on-lending agreement with the commercial bank Itaú Unibanco, BNDES said in a press release.
