Argentina's Medanito said it has extended a stand-by agreement on an $80 million loan, staving off default yet again after the first repayment came due in January this year.
The Buenos Aires-based oil and gas company came to terms to refinance the loan in March this year, but it has not yet signed an agreement. It received the 2.5-year syndicated loan, led by Credit Suisse, in October 2017. The other lenders were Banco Ciudad, HSBC, Itaú and the local development bank BICE.
