Brazil's Braskem said it has selected the current chairman of the board, Roberto Simões, as its next CEO, taking over for Fernando Musa at the start of next year.
Simões was CEO of Ocyan Participações from 2014 to September 2019. Before that, he was CEO of Odebrecht Defesa e Tecnologia from 2010 to 2012 and Santo Antonio Energia from 2008 to 2010. He was also a vice president at Braskem from 2004 to 2008.
