Panama tightens spreads on retap

Panama added $1.3 billion to two series of bonds on Tuesday, tightening the spreads from the initial issues of the 2030 and 2053 notes after orders exceeded $3 billion. The government reopened its 4.3% 2053 bonds for $1 billion, placing the add-on at a reoffer price 113.18 to yield 3.607%, or 135 basis points over 2049 US Treasury notes. It also added $300 million to its 3.16% 2030 bonds at a reoffer price of 102.799 to yield 2.834%, or 105 basis points over 2029 US Treasury notes, according to
