South American development bank CAF intends to lend more than $4 billion to Argentina for infrastructure improvements and other projects, in line with the size of its lending in recent years.
CAF CEO Luis Carranza Ugarte announced the bank's plans during a meeting on Tuesday with Argentina's President-elect Alberto Fernández in Buenos Aires, according to the state news agency Télam, which cited a statement from the incoming government's transition team.
