Brazil's OAS has signed a leniency agreement with federal prosecutors and agreed to pay BRL1.92 billion ($488 million) in fines to settle corruption charges.
The construction company will pay BRL800 million for profiting from fraudulent contracts and BRL720 million for bribing government officials plus BRL405 million in other fines, the attorney general's office (AGU) and the comptroller general's office (CGU), said in a statement.
